If you do not read and follow the instructions exactly it will not work!!!!!!!!
If it does not work for you then you did not follow it correctly….

If updating from a different version of Yoast Pro, follow these steps:

1. Remove your current Yoast Pro plugin.
2. Install the “Yoast Test Helper” plugin.
3. Reset Yoast SEO Data:
   1. Navigate to Tools > Yoast Test.
   2. In the Yoast SEO section, click on the following buttons one at a time:
      1. Reset indexables tables & migrations
      2. Reset Prominent words calculation
      3. Reset Internal link counter
   3. After each reset, the page will refresh to confirm success.
4. Install my patched version of Yoast Pro.
5. Clear all caches, including browser, CDN, server cache, etc.
