WP GeoIP Country Redirect is a WordPress plugin that allows you to automatically redirect your website visitors based on their geographical location (country).

1. Geographical Redirection: The plugin uses the Maxmind GeoIP (Lite) Database (last updated in August 2023) to determine the visitor’s country. Based on this information, it redirects them to a specific page or URL.
2. Customizable Rules: You can define a set of rules in the WordPress administration panel. These rules determine how visitors from different countries are redirected. For example, you can create rules to send visitors from Japan to a Japanese version of your site, while visitors from the United States are directed to the English version.
3. Development Mode: There’s a development mode available for testing purposes. When enabled, the IP address used for testing is from Bangladesh.
4. Debug Log: The plugin maintains a debug log for all events related to redirection. This can be useful for troubleshooting and monitoring.
5. Skip Redirect for Bots & Crawlers: To avoid unnecessary redirects, the plugin allows you to skip redirection for search engine bots and web crawlers.
6. Different Redirection Types: You can choose between two redirection types:
   • 301 (Permanently Moved): Indicates a permanent redirection.
   • 302 (Temporarily Moved): Indicates a temporary redirection.
7. First-Time Visit Only: By default, the plugin redirects visitors only on their first visit. After 24 hours, the redirection is reset.
8. Unlimited Redirect Rules: You can create as many redirect rules as needed. These rules can be based on specific countries, using regular expressions, and more.
9. Absolute or Relative URLs: You can set redirect rules using either absolute URLs (full web addresses) or relative URLs (relative to the home page).
10. Reset Plugin Settings: If necessary, you can reset the plugin settings to their default values.
